Dead Heron

October 22, 2005 · 4 Comments

It is with much regret that I have to inform you of the passing of my pet heron. In a moving ceremony, attended by his only friends, a flock of Siamese Sneezing Finches, I paid tribute to his beautiful beak and made mention of his love for fish and small amphibians. I then opened the bedroom window and threw him out.

I’m glad I have a photo of him, though.

(the flue jab I mean) still it put’s one’s mind at rest. That’s why there wasn’t any insuline left you see, all the people in the village stormed up the Doc’s at the first news report of a Bird Flue epidemic on the way.The people in this area are what you call the typical British Bulldog Breed, “panick at the first signs of illness or death”.Mind you, I did get to see the Love of my Life! even though she stuck a needle in me.. that was “Karen” the nurse. xxxMade my Day!
