Danger. Shocking.

Whilst holidaying in Cornwall we came upon this sign. It was a bolt from the blue.

I was so shocked I took three steps back into the road and was run over by a tractor taking clotted cream to some tin miners.

While I lay dying in the road, my wife rang the emergency number on the sign.

All they asked was how the tractor was. She told them it had carried on as if nothing had happened, which seemed to please the call centre operative at the other end so much that he said “Very good” and put the phone down.

Still. At least the tin miners got their clotted cream. Can’t have a pasty without it!
